Responsibilities

    • Lead and oversee all aspects of drainage projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
    • Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff, to effectively execute project plans and meet client expectations.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, regularly monitoring progress and addressing any deviations.
    • Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform project design and decision-making processes.
    • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance on drainage design, hydraulic analysis, stormwater management, and erosion control measures.
    • Prepare comprehensive project reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, communicating project status, milestones, and outcomes effectively.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement within the drainage engineering discipline, driving continuous learning and professional development.
    • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the project team, promoting best practices and ensuring a itive work environment.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s Degree In Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Or Related Field, Master’s Degree Preferred.
      • Professional Engineer (PE) License In The State Of Texas, Or Ability To Obtain Licensure Within Six Months Of Hire.
      • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Drainage Engineering, Including Project Management And Design Leadership Roles.
      • Proficiency In Industry-Standard Software Tools Such As AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, And StormCAD.
      • Strong Understanding Of Relevant Regulations And Standards Governing Drainage Design And Stormwater Management In Texas.
      • Excellent Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Liaise With Clients, Team Members, And Stakeholders.
      • Demonstrated Leadership Abilities, With A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Multidisciplinary Project Teams And Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.
      • Proven Problem-Solving Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Analyze Complex Technical Issues And Develop Practical Solutions.
      • Valid Driver’s License And Willingness To Travel To Project Sites And Client Meetings As Required.
      • Technical Skills:

        • Strong Technical Proficiency In Hydraulic And Hydrologic Analysis, Stormwater Management, Erosion Control, And Drainage System Design.
        • Proficiency In Relevant Engineering Software And Tools, Such As HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD, And GIS.
        • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements, Industry Standards, And Best Practices Related To Drainage Engineering And Stormwater Management .
